The Indian army man of 898 ASC Bn (AT) identified as Sarvanan T (32) of Indian city of Thirumangalakkottai, Tamil Nadu, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside Army’s unit headquarters in the town. »

London, June 04 (KMS): During cricket match between Pakistan and India in London, Kashmiris came out in protest shouting: “Go India Go” slogans.

Carrying placards with pictures of Burhan Wani, the protesters were raising pro-freedom slogans.

It was not immediately known if there are Kashmiris and Pakistanis inside the stadium with the Kashmiri placards. For the last few days, the Kashmiris living in UK had launched a campaign to use the match as an awareness event on Kashmir by using placards that get attention towards Kashmir. »

World intervention sought on Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the malicious campaign launched by India against the Hurriyet leadership and the ongoing Kashmir’s freedom movement.

The resistance leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar denounced the massive crackdown by Indian National Investigation Agency against the resistance leaders. The statement said that the leaders were being implicated in false cases to break their resolve for freedom.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a gathering at Palpora Noorbagh in Srinagar said that killing, blinding, maiming and arrests could not deter or defeat the Kashmiri people from pursuing their struggle for freedom from illegal Indian occupation. »
