Indian police use force to disperse protesters in Kathua
Jammu: Indian police used force to disperse a group of people protesting against the installation of smart meters in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, people, including several women, gathered outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Kathua town under the banner of the Jan Jagran Manch, blocking the road in protest, today.
Police resorted to a cane charge to disperse the demonstrators. Fiver protesters were detained during the incident.
