Death threats to Baba Siddique’s son and Salman Khan
Mumbai: Zeeshan Siddique, son of Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Siddique, and Bollywood actor Salman Khan received death threats.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the threats were reported following recent tensions in the wake of Baba Siddique’s shooting death, at the hands of members of the Bishnoi gang.
The calls were made just weeks after Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his office while celebrating Dusshera on October 12. Zeeshan Siddique had recently joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction after being expelled from Congress.
The police have arrested 15 individuals in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder, with claims from a member of the Bishnoi gang indicating that he was targeted due to his close ties with Salman Khan.
