Torch-bearing rally held in Muzaffarabad ahead of Kashmir Solidarity Day

 

 

Muzaffarabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK), chapter and Jammu and Kashmir Pasban-e-Hurriyat organsied a torch-bearing rally in Muzaffarabad ahead of the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally was led by APHC AJK Secretary-General Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Pasban Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, and PPP leader Shokat Javed Mir. A large number of young participants attended the rally, raising slogans against India and in support of the freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, as part of Kashmir Solidarity Day events, a rally of young bikers from various cities of Pakistan reached Kohala. Upon their arrival, they were warmly received by Nisar Ahmad Shaikh, President of Alpine Club, and Uzair Ahmad Ghazali. The rally, consisting of more than 100 bikers from Lahore and other cities, was also attended by Sohaib Kashmiri, leader of Kashmir United Movement, social leader Mahtab Ashraf, Assistant Commissioner Dhirkot, Assistant Commissioner Galyat, and other local officials.

The bikers’ rally was led by Nasser Shah, Khalid Cheema, and Raja Abdul Waheed Advocate. Following the bikers’ arrival at Kohala, a large number of citizens, along with the bikers, conducted a foot march from Kohala Bridge. The participants of the rally waved Pakistani and Kashmiri flags, chanted slogans for the freedom of Kashmir.

At this occasion, Raja Nisar Ahmad Shaikh welcomed the bikers and their association’s president. Uzair Ahmad Ghazali stated that the solidarity expressed by the people of Pakistan with Kashmiris is undoubtedly a source of great encouragement for them. He added that the Kashmiri people share deep sympathy, affection, and love for the state of Pakistan and its people.
