Agha Hassan condemns killing of civilians by Indian troops in IIOJK
Culprits must be held accountable, says Tarigami
Srinagar: Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference and President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Shari Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safvi has strongly condemned the killing of civilians Makhan Din and truck driver Waseem Mir in Kathua and Baramulla districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Agha Hassan, while addressing a public gathering in Budgam, demanded an impartial, high-level investigation into both the killings to ensure that those responsible are prosecuted and brought to justice.
Meanwhile, CPI(M) leader and Member of IIOJK Legislative Assembly Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami also called for a thorough investigation into the recent killing of the truck driver in Baramulla district, stressing that justice could only be ensured if the perpetrators are identified. Tarigami also expressed grave concern over the arbitrary arrests of youth, warning that such actions would worsen the situation further. He stated that Indian forces must be held accountable for any actions they take.
