APHC-AJK invites Mufti Qasim Fakhri, Allama Shahenshah Naqvi to participate in July 8 rally

Karachi: A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter met Mufti Muhammad Qasim Fakhri and Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi and invited them to participate in the rally to be taken out on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani on July 8.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation met with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan leader and member of the Sindh Assembly Mufti Muhammad Qasim Fakhri, prominent leader of the Shia Ulema Council Allama Syed Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi and head of the Palestine Foundation Dr Maryam Abu Sabir.

The latest situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir was discussed in the meeting and serious concern was expressed over the serious human rights violations being committed by Indian forces in the area.

Mufti Muhammad Qasim Fakhri and Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi strongly condemned the ongoing Indian atrocities on the unarmed Kashmiris and said that India carried out naked aggression against Pakistan under the guise of the Pahalgam false flag operation but it had to pay the price. He said the Pakistani forces have crushed India’s pride.

The Hurriyat Conference delegation included former convener Syed Yousuf Naseem, General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah, Raja Khadim Hussain, Zahid Ashraf and Sheikh Abdul Majid.

On this occasion, Mufti Muhammad Qasim Fakhri and Allama Shahanshah Naqvi assured the delegation of their full participation in the rally and said the sacrifices of fearless Kashmiri youth like Burhan Wani are a bright chapter of the Kashmir freedom movement. They said that remembering the martyrs is their national and religious duty.

Meanwhile, the Hurriyat delegation also met with Pakistan Singh Council Chairman and respected leaders of the Sikh community, Dr Ramesh Singh and Sardar Ram Singh.

Dr Ramesh Singh on the occasion said the Sikh community considers the suffering of Kashmiris as its own suffering and that it is not only will participate fully in the historic rally of July 8 and will also play its full role in highlighting the right of the oppressed Kashmiri people to self-determination at every forum in the world. He said that Sikhs from all over the world stand by the Kashmiris and consider it their moral duty to support their legitimate cause.

On this occasion, Hurriyat leaders shed light in detail on the ongoing Indian oppression, tyranny, oppression and human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
