Restrictions imposed in Baramulla, assembly of four or more persons banned

Srinagar: Authorities have imposed strict restrictions in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official order issued by Additional District Magistrate Baramulla said, the restrictions will remain in force in Pattan and other areas of the district “to maintain peace and public order” till 9:30pm, today.
As per the order, “The decision has been taken in view of prevailing circumstances, based on assessment of” the boiling anger and reports of forceful protests. The order prohibits any assembly or gathering of four or more persons in the specified areas.
Authorities have asked the general public to adhere to the restrictions. It is believed that the restrictions have been imposed in connection with the 25 Muharram processions in the district.
