India’s denial of US role in ceasefire exposes its diplomatic duplicity

Islamabad: India’s claim that the May 2025 ceasefire agreement with Pakistan was reached without third-party mediation has been contradicted by credible international confirmations, including from senior US officials, exposing New Delhi’s diplomatic dishonesty and attempts to mislead the global community.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India’s insistence on bilateralism falls flat in light of Washington’s acknowledged behind-the-scenes role in facilitating the ceasefire understanding between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
US officials and foreign policy analysts have pointed to the quiet but critical mediation by the US administration, led by President Donald Trump, that helped the ceasefire between the two countries.
