Dozens of houses raided in massive crackdowns in Kishtwar, Doda districts of IIOJK

Jammu: Indian police have launched massive crackdowns in Kishtwar and Doda districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, targeting homes of civilians.

According to Kashmir Media Service, police raided 26 houses in Kistwar district today, including the residence of of Mohammad Amin Bhat, whom the authorities allege is a pro-freedom activist.

The raids in Kishtwar follow similar searches at 15 locations in nearby Doda district a day earlier. During the operations, police not only harassed residents but also seized property documents, bank papers, mobile phones, and laptops.

Indian police officials claim the operation is meant to curb pro-freedom activities in the districts. However, such pretexts are routinely used by the occupation authorities to justify actions that are, in reality, intended to intimidate residents and create an atmosphere of fear.
