Conflicts like Palestine, Kashmir result of global colonial system: Turabi
Birmingham: Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Rashid Turabi has said that long-pending conflicts like Palestine and Kashmir are the result of the global colonial system, which has plunged the entire world into the fire of oppression and oppression.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Rashid Turabi addressing a conference organized by Syed Maududi Foundation, UK, in Birmingham, said today the world is suffering from economic exploitation, colonial supremacy, cruelty and injustice and violation of human values.
He said in such circumstances, the just and welfare system of Islam is the only way for the salvation and survival of humanity. He said the freedom movements of Palestine and Kashmir are internationally recognized and legitimate struggles, which are the responsibility of the Muslim Ummah to openly support.
Turabi said the struggle of the determined and oppressed Muslims of Gaza has made the alignment of the oppressor and the oppressed clear on the global level. Today, the public demonstrations, taking place in Britain, Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand, are a sign of the awakening of human conscience, and as a result of this public pressure, European countries are moving towards recognizing the Palestinian state, he remarked.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the Foundation, Muhammad Ghalib, while Fahim Kayani, Allama Sarfaraz Madni, Nazir Ahmed Qureshi and other prominent scholars and personalities spoke on the occasion.
