Afghan FM’s misleading statement on Kashmir at behest of India regrettable: Shah Ghulam Qadir
Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Muslim League-N, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, President Shah Ghulam Qadir has said that the Afghan Foreign Minister’s misleading statement on Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the behest of India is regrettable and deserves to be condemned.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Shah Ghulam Qadir in a statement said the Afghan Foreign Minister is ignorant of his history, adding the people of Afghanistan have always stood by the position of the Kashmiris.
He said he strongly condemns the attack on Pakistan by the Afghan government. He said the Afghan-India alliance will not last long and those who betray the martyrs of Kashmir will never succeed.
Shah Ghulam Qadir said the Pakistan Army first gave a befitting reply to the eternal enemy India and in the same way the Pakistan Army crushed the Taliban government.
He said the Kashmiri people are proud of the Pakistan Army and stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistani forces. He said the misleading position of the Afghan government on Kashmir while sitting in India is condemnable.
Shah Ghulam Qadir said this misleading position is not only historically and religiously invalid but also an insult to the sacrifices of lakhs of Kashmiri martyrs.
He said the United Nations has declared Kashmir a disputed territory, adding the Kashmiri people have been given the right to decide their future through a referendum.
He said the Azad Kashmir government should immediately clarify its policy regarding Afghans, residing illegally in the Azad Kashmir region. Thousands of Afghans are residing illegally in various districts of Azad Kashmir and they should be immediately sent back to Afghanistan, he concluded.
