India committing serious crimes against Kashmiris in IIOJK: Safi

Muzaffarabad: Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Ghulam Muhammad Safi has said that October 27 is a black day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, on this day in 1947, India, violating all international laws, human values and the formula for the division of the subcontinent, occupied the state of Jammu and Kashmir through military aggression.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi, talking to media representatives at the press club in Muzaffarabad said India’s status in the occupied territory is nothing but an aggressor because it has occupied the land of the Kashmiris against their will. He said the Kashmiris have never accepted Indian domination and they are creating a great history of sacrifices against it.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi said India is committing serious crimes against the Kashmiri people such as state terrorism, genocide, extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances and violation of basic human and religious rights. He said India has martyred lakhs of Kashmiris and made thousands missing since 1947 in retaliation for their demand for freedom. However, despite all its efforts, India has failed to demoralize the Kashmiris.

He said a massive anti-India protest demonstration will be organized in Muzaffarabad on October 27 under the auspices of the APHC-AJK chapter and a clear message will be given to India as well as the international community that Kashmiris will never take rest until they are free from its rule.
