UP’s CM Yogi Adityanath links halal certification to terrorism

Lucknow: The Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has once again demonstrated religious extremism by linking a legitimate Islamic religious practice like Halal certification to terrorism.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Yogi Adityanath has criminalized the legitimate Islamic practice of millions of Muslims in the state by falsely claiming that halal funds are being used for terrorism and forced conversion.

According to political and social observers, this statement by Yogi Adityanath is not just political rhetoric, but part of a planned strategy of state terrorism to subdue and intimidate Muslims and an attempt to justify hatred, prejudice and state repression against Muslims.

According to critics, this baseless allegation is also aimed at defaming Muslims and imposing restrictions on their religious and social rights. This strategy of the Yogi government is also aimed at intimidating Muslims and taking away their religious freedom.

According to experts, halal certification is a legitimate religious and commercial process that Muslims around the world use to ensure that food and products comply with religious standards. But the Yogi government has made a sinister attempt to criminalize the religious beliefs of millions of Muslims by linking it to terrorism.

Yogi Adityanath considers himself a champion of the “Hindutva” ideology and is further increasing the hateful atmosphere against minorities, especially Muslims, in India.

International organizations such as the United Nations, the European Union and Amnesty International have already said that the Yogi government is involved in systematic state violence against Muslims.

Political analysts have warned that the trend of attacking religious identity and criminalizing worship is a violation not only of the Indian Constitution but also of international human rights principles.

Yogi Adityanath’s actions against Muslims illustrate the growing authoritarianism and ideological prejudice in India, which is a systematic conspiracy to suppress minorities and deprive them of their religious freedom in the name of national security.

It should be noted that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a follower of the extremist thinking of fascist Narendra Modi and is openly implementing a Hindutva racist system in Uttar Pradesh.

Such measures reflect a systematic attempt to suppress Muslims under the guise of security, exposing the ideological bias and authoritarian intent of the ruling establishment.
