Youth found dead under mysterious circumstances in Srinagar
Srinagar: A 25-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Mohammad Maqbool, was found lifeless at his residence in the Check Majgund area of Srinagar.
The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of death.
Such mysterious deaths are not uncommon in IIOJK, with many incidents believed to be linked to the Indian troops, who are accused of abducting innocent Kashmiri youth and later killing them in staged encounters near the Line of Control, often labeling them as ‘militants’ or ‘infiltrators.’ These acts are seen as attempts by India to tarnish the Kashmir freedom movement and malign Pakistan.
