Indian authorities demolish house-cum-office of jailed leader in Srinagar

Srinagar: Indian authorities in a house raid have demolished the residence-cum-office of jailed leader Mushtaq ul Islam in Srinagar city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian authorities, accompanied by police and paramilitary personnel, during a house raid barged into the residence-cum-office of the jailed leader Mushtaq ul Islam in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar city.

The authorities also removed and seized the office signboard named on Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference, strongly condemning all acts of state terrorism, urged the world community to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per United Nations resolutions. It has affirmed that such tactics would not suppress the Kashmiri people’s spirit for freedom and that the struggle for self-determination would continue until its logical conclusion.

The APHC has urged the United Nations, the European Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international human rights organizations to take notice of these violations and put pressure on India to end its repressive measures in the occupied territory.
