BJP creating fake votes in Uttar Pradesh: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Member of Lok Sabha, lower house of Indian parliament, Akhilesh Yadav has severely criticized the Hindutva Bharatiya Janata Party and said it is creating fake votes in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Akhilesh Yadav, while talking to the media in Lucknow, severely criticized the BJP for excluding the names of 2 crore 89 lakh voters from the draft voter list during the special comprehensive review in Uttar Pradesh.

He asked the people to go to the relevant forum and check their votes in the draft voter list, adding the people should protect their vote and not fall prey to the BJP’s false narrative.

Akhilesh Yadav said this is the first time that BJP leaders themselves are worried about the special comprehensive revision of the voter list and pressure is being put on administrative officers to increase the number of voters.

He further said if the BJP tries to create fake votes, Samajwadi Party workers will file an FIR against it. He said the Chief Minister himself is instructing officers to increase the votes.

It should be noted that the opposition political parties are strongly criticizing the BJP for deleting the names of 28.9 million voters during the special comprehensive revision of the voter list. The Election Commission is calling it an administrative and legal process, while the opposition is calling it a political conspiracy. KMS—18A
