IndiGo flight makes emergency landing in Lucknow after bomb threat

Lucknow: An IndiGo Airlines flight from Delhi to Bagdogra was diverted to Lucknow Airport after a bomb threat, prompting an emergency landing at 9:17 am. All 222 passengers and crew were safely evacuated.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a handwritten note saying “Plane mein bomb” was found, and bomb disposal squads are conducting checks.

This incident adds to IndiGo’s recent woes, following frequent flight cancellations due to pilot shortages and new FDTL rules. The airline has been struggling to cope with operational challenges, sparking concerns over passenger safety.
