Indian forces martyr civilian in Samba district

Srinagar: Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred a civilian in the Samba district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the civilian was killed by the Indian Border Security Force during a shootout operation in the Majra area of Ramgarh in the district.

Indian official sources, while justifying the killing, claimed that the person was an intruder. Locals, however, refuted the claim as baseless saying that the martyred youth was a civilian. Indian forces have launched a thorough search operation in the area.

Meanwhile, the Indian State Special Operation Cell of the Punjab Police arrested a resident from Jammu, identified as Raman Kumar, during an operation in the Indian city of Chandigarh, Punjab. Indian police claimed that he was arrested for his alleged links with a Pakistani activist via Instagram and WhatsApp.

Meanwhile, Indian forces continued a massive cordon and search operation in the Janseer-Kandiwar Chatroo area of Kishtwar district. The operation was launched on January 18 in Sonnar village near Mandral-Singhpora.
