Police head constable, wife killed; 2 children injured in IIOJK road accident
Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a head constable of the Indian Police and his wife were killed, while their two children were injured in a road accident near Doda district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident took place when an Alto car lost control near Basti village in Bhaderwah area and rolled into a river. As a result, head constable Zulfikar Ali and his wife were killed on the spot, while their two children were also injured.
The police official was on his way to duty when the incident happened. The injured children were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.
