Mother of Abdul Ahad Parra passes away, Hurriyat leaders express grief
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the mother of senior Muslim League leader Abdul Ahad Parra has passed away after a prolonged illness.
According to Kashmir Media Service, she breathed her last today and was laid to rest in her ancestral area of Badra Bala Qaziabad in Handwara, where a large number of people attended her funeral prayers.
Abdul Ahad Parra, a prominent pro-freedom leader, has spent a long period in different jails of IIOJK and India and was recently released.
All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise. They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
They also expressed solidarity with Abdul Ahad Parra and prayed for forgiveness of the deceased.
