Indian paramilitary soldier dies under mysterious circumstances in Shopian
Srinagar: A Centre Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier died under mysterious circumstances in Shopian district In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased has been identified as Gayan Chand, a resident of Arazi Samba, Jammu, who was found unconscious at the CRPF headquarters in Shopian, where he was posted.
An official said Chand was immediately shifted to District Hospital Shopian for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings under relevant sections as investigations continue into the circumstances of his death.
