20 passengers dead in Ramnagar–Udhampur highway road mishap
Jammu,: At least 20 passengers died in a road accident in Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a tragic road accident, at least 20 people lost their lives after a passenger bus overturned on the Ramnagar–Udhampur highway.
The accident occurred when the bus, carrying several passengers, lost control while navigating a stretch of the winding highway connecting Ramnagar to Udhampur. The vehicle reportedly skidded and overturned, leading to severe casualties.
Local residents and passersby were among the first to respond, rushing to the accident site to help rescue passengers trapped inside the overturned bus.
Ten passengers were declared dead and several others sustained injuries, some of them critical, and were admitted to hospitals in Udhampur for treatment.
