APHC vows to continue freedom struggle for peace in region

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has reiterated its unwavering commitment to continuing the struggle for the freedom of the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Indian subjugation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, emphasized that New Delhi’s attempts to suppress their resolve — through bans on Hurriyat organizations, attachment of properties including homes, land, institutions and offices, as well as the harassment and arrest of Kashmiri youth — would not weaken their determination.
The APHC stressed that even in the face of extreme repression, its leadership would continue to assert that Jammu and Kashmir remains an unresolved dispute that must be addressed for lasting peace in South Asia. He urged the youth to remain steadfast in their pursuit of freedom and the right to self-determination. The statement said that more than 1,100,000 Indian occupation forces have turned the territory into the world’s largest open-air prison. Despite the severity and scale of the situation, the people of Kashmir have demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience, and strength, proving that their will cannot be broken by brute force or draconian laws.
The APHC also expressed concern over continued house raids, search operations, arrests of youth, and the seizure of local properties, including educational institutions in Shopian, drawing parallels with historical instances of repression. APHC urged people to remain cautious of the agendas of the BJP and RSS and to guard against anti-Kashmir proxies and enemies. KMS-4R
