Permanent peace in region impossible without Kashmir solution: APHC

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the continued Indian military operations and acts of violence in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir pose an existential threat to Kashmiris, who are reeling under India’s brutal suppression.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said peace would continue to elude South Asia until Kashmiris are granted their birthright to self-determination.
The statement appealed to international human rights organizations to take note of the situation and help stop the wave of repression unleashed on the people of IIOJK by occupation troops. He said that unrelenting Indian state terrorism posed an existential threat to the Kashmiris. He added that dialogue among all stakeholders, including Pakistan, India and the genuine leadership of the Kashmiris, was the best possible way to resolve the long-pending dispute.
