Indian police seal medical store in IIOJK
Srinagar:Indian police have sealed a medical store at Cheeni Chowk in Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for its involvement in the unauthorised sale of controlled medicines.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a team from Police Station, Islamabad, in coordination with the Drugs and Food Control Department, conducted a raid at Atif Medical Store.
During the inspection, a significant quantity of controlled pharmaceutical substances was found being sold in violation of prescribed norms.
The seized medicines include 13 strips of Pregabalin Pro 2.0, 10 strips of Lopez MD-2, 63 tablets of Clonazepam with Propranolol, and 8 bottles of Cocas-DX cough syrup.
All the recovered items were confiscated on the spot and handed over to the department concerned for further action.
Following the violations, the medical store was sealed immediately, and legal proceedings for cancellation of its pharmaceutical license have been initiated.
