Special educational, spiritual session held in Srinagar’s Hassanabad

Srinagar: A significant educational and spiritual session was held at Hassanabad in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, under the auspices of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and the patronage of APHC senior leader Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, The gathering was attended by male and female participants enrolled in the ongoing Qur’an Teacher Training Course.

The session was presided over by Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi. Also present on the dais were Maulana Azadar Abbas Khan, Professor Dr Mohammad Zaman Azurda, and Syed Liaqat Hussain Hamdani.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the importance of learning and teaching the Holy Qur’an, the requirements of religious education, and the vital role of Qur’anic teachers in society.

They urged the participants to develop a strong bond with the Holy Qur’an, incorporate its teachings into their daily lives, and play an active role in promoting Qur’anic values within the community.

The Qur’an Teacher Training Course was launched approximately one month ago and has been progressing successfully. Through this programme, participants are being trained in the correct recitation of the Holy Qur’an, principles of Qur’anic instruction, fundamentals of religious outreach and propagation, and the responsibilities of a Qur’an teacher. The objective is to prepare them to effectively contribute to the teaching and dissemination of Qur’anic knowledge in the future.

In his presidential address, Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi Al Safvi said the Holy Qur’an is a complete code of life for humanity and that its teaching and propagation constitute a noble religious duty.

Addressing the participants, he emphasized that they should not only acquire Qur’anic knowledge but also develop the ability to convey its message to others. He encouraged them to become dedicated teachers of the Qur’an and play a meaningful role in the religious and moral development of society.

He further remarked that in the contemporary era, strengthening one’s connection with the Holy Qur’an and promoting its teachings is an urgent necessity. He stressed that the younger generation must come forward to shoulder the responsibility of guiding the Ummah through the light of Qur’anic teachings.

On this occasion Syed Ashraf Ali, in charge of the Makatib Department of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, presented a detailed report on the performance and achievements of the organization’s network of religious schools.
