Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari expresses regret over non-issuance of passport by Indian administration

Due to deprivation of passport, he will not be able to attend last rites of martyred Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari has expressed deep regret over non-issuance of passport by the Indian occupation administration for the last nine years.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari in a statement issued in Srinagar said due to the deprivation of his passport, he is deprived of participating in many religious and spiritual events abroad.

He said he has received an invitation to attend the funeral prayers and last rites of martyr Ayatollah Ali Khamenei starting from July 4, but due to the lack of a passport, he is unable to attend this historic and spiritual occasion.

He said that not participating in this historic occasion will be a source of deep sorrow and lifelong regret for him. He said for every devotee, it is an indescribable blessing to be present at such a great and historic occasion, to join in prayers with millions of mourners, to pay his last respects to his beloved leader and to be a part of this historic farewell scene. But unfortunately, the continuous deprivation of his passport has deprived him of this great honor as well, he added.

Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari said this is such a deep wound that words cannot describe and the pain of missing out on this historic opportunity will remain an unforgettable regret in his heart throughout his life.
