Manipur crisis result of Modi govt’s politics of hatred: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, July 03 (KMS): Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has said that the prolonged unrest in Manipur, which has displaced around 20,000 people, is the direct consequence of the Modi government’s politics of hatred and division.
According to Kashmir Media Service, referring to the recent torching of several houses in two tribal villages in the violence-hit state, Rahul Gandhi said in a post on X that not only the people of Manipur but the entire country had lost hope of hearing even a few words of sympathy from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the conflict in Manipur continues to escalate, forcing thousands of people from their homes and leaving countless families to endure immense hardships and suffering. He maintained that the ongoing crisis was the result of Modi’s divisive politics, which, he said, seeks to pit people against one another on the basis of religion, caste, and community.
