APHC, Liberation Cell hold rally in Muzaffarabad to mark Kashmir Martyrs’ Day

Muzaffarabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK (APHC-AJK), in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell, organized a rally in Muzaffarabad to commemorate Kashmir Martyrs’ Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally was led by APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Secretary Kashmir Cause Syed Shahid Mohi-ud-Din, and AJK government spokesperson Shaukat Javed Mir.

The participants marched to the United Nations Military Observer Group office, where they submitted a memorandum drawing the UN’s attention to the grave human rights violations being committed by Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The memorandum urged the United Nations to ensure the implementation of its resolutions on the Kashmir dispute and take effective measures to stop the ongoing human rights violations in the occupied territory.

Addressing the rally, APHC-AJK Secretary General Parvez Ahmad Shah, Dr Raja Sajjad Khan, Sardar Sajid Mahmood, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal, Sheikh Yaqoob, Manzoor Shah, Zahid Ashraf, Syed Gulshan Ahmad, Majeed Mir, Mushtaq Salam and other speakers reiterated their demand for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell and the APHC also announced that a protest rally will be held at Lal Chowk, Muzaffarabad, at 5:00 pm on July 13 to mark Kashmir Martyrs’ Day. KMS-11K
