Three Indian Assam Rifles personnel killed, several injured in Nagaland explosion

Kohima: Three Indian Assam Rifles personnel were killed and several others injured in a powerful explosion in Nagaland, a state governed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led alliance.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the attackers targeted a moving Indian Army Assam Rifles convoy by hurling an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), triggering a powerful explosion near Sokhuvi village in Chümoukedima district on Monday.

Three Army personnel were killed on the spot, while several others sustained critical injuries who were shifted to hospital for medical treatment, although their condition has not yet been officially disclosed.
