All political parties in IIOJK unite for statehood restoration, BJP stands isolated

Srinagar: Political parties in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have united in demanding immediate restoration of statehood, exposing the BJP’s isolation in the territory, even as the Modi regime continues its policy of suppression and betrayal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the demand for statehood has become the central point around which diverse voices in IIOJK are converging.
National Conference President Farooq Abdullah along with Congress outreach to senior Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, signal a broadening resistance front seeking genuine dialogue and restoration of rights.
The unity comes amid continued restrictions on Kashmiri leaders. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s residence remains under virtual confiscation with severe curbs, gagging the revered Hurriyat leader.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is facing a INR 100 crore defamation threat from the BJP after he exposed alleged poaching of MLAs through bribes and ministerial lures.
Observers said seven years after the illegal abrogation of Article 370, broken promises on statehood, ignored Indian Supreme Court directives, and relentless harassment reveal the BJP’s agenda of demographic engineering and total subjugation.
Omar Abdullah’s “Delhi Chalo” rally and mass mobilization have rattled the occupiers, proving that the Kashmiri spirit remains unbroken despite military lockdown and repression.
The statement said the world is witnessing India’s hypocrisy of preaching democracy while imposing military rule in Kashmir. “Enough delays and dirty tricks. Restore statehood now, or face escalating global condemnation for this endless betrayal. Kashmir will not bow,” it added.
