Agha Ruhullah seeks fair probe into Bhaderwah civilian killing

Srinagar : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference senior leader and member of Indian parliament from Srinagar Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi has expressed deep concern over the death of a civilian in Bhaderwah, Doda district, Jammu, calling for a prompt, impartial and transparent investigation into the incident.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi in a statement issued in Srinagar said the tragic loss of a civilian life has caused deep anguish and concern. He said amid conflicting accounts surrounding the incident, it is imperative that the facts are established through a fair and credible inquiry.
He said the investigation should be transparent enough to inspire public confidence and ensure accountability wherever it is found to be warranted.

Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Ruhullah Mehdi appealed to the people to maintain peace, exercise restraint and allow the due process of law to uncover the truth.
