Indian forces conduct search operations in Rajouri, Baramulla

Srinagar: Indian forces personnel continued their cordon and search operations in Rajouri and Baramulla districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops claimed to have found an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) during a cordon and search operation in Argi Dalhori village of Rajouri district. The device was subsequently destroyed in a controlled explosion by experts.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) carried out the controlled explosion without causing any damage, Indian officials claimed.

In another operation, Indian forces claimed to have recovered a large cache of arms and explosives in the Kandi forest area of Baramulla district.

According to the Indian Army, the operation was launched by the 52 Rashtriya Rifles, 53 Battalion CRPF and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The forces claimed recovering two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), two pistols and 530 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition concealed in the forest area.
