Reasi: Missing girl’s body recovered, woman dies due to delay in medical aid
Jammu: The body of a missing girl has been recovered in Reasi district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of 23-year-old Eira Fatima was found in the Dhyangarh Dam Top area of the Chenab reservoir near Salal Dam in Reasi.
Locals saw the body and informed the police, who reached the spot and pulled it out of the water.
The police have started investigating the matter.
In another incident, a 22-year-old ailing woman, Parveena Akhtar, could not be shifted to the hospital in time after the Kalakot-Methani road was closed, due to which she died.
Residents of the area said this is not the first such incident on the road and demanded immediate restoration of the road to avoid further loss of life.
