ITBP DIG, his driver killed in Uttar Pradesh road accident

Saharanpur: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and his driver were killed in a road accident in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Parminder Singh and his driver Ravi Shankar were killed while four others were injured when their speeding vehicle hit a divider and collided head-on with an oncoming car in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district.
According to preliminary information, DIG Parminder Singh, who was reportedly in the area in connection with HSMC at the ITBP Academy, met with the accident while travelling out of the area. He reportedly died at the spot.
Parminder Singh hailed from Ropar (Rupnagar), Punjab.
