Five killed in separate mishaps in IIOJK

Srinagar : Five people, including three members of a family, were killed and several others injured in separate mishaps in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, three members of a family were killed after a Sumo vehicle plunged into a deep gorge near Panasa village in the Thakrakote area of Reasi. All three occupants, including a couple, were killed on the spot. The deceased were identified as Prem Singh, 50, his wife Santoshi Devi, 45, and Durgi Devi, 70, the mother-in-law of Prem Singh.
In Sopore, a 70-year-old woman, identified as Azi Begum of Ningli, was killed after being hit by a car near Sofi Akber Road in the town’s Bypass area. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings.
In Jammu, an unidentified man died after falling from the moving Malwa Express near the Railway Bridge in the Kunjwani area. At least ten people were also injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in the Nagrota area of Jammu.
Meanwhile, at least 11 houses were damaged by land subsidence in the Kheri area near Bantalab in North Jammu.
Reports from Srinagar said that heavy rains lashed the picturesque tourist destination of Pahalgam in Islamabad district, triggering landslides and causing debris to fall at several places.
