Grand ceremony in Mirpur on Defence Day of Pakistan
Mirpur: A grand ceremony was held in Mirpur on the occasion of Defense Day of Pakistan, in which tributes were paid to the Pakistan Army for its national defence, national services and sacrifices.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the ceremony was attended by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz District Mirpur General Secretary Muhammad Mudassar Mir Advocate, President of Dadyal Bar Raja Adeel Ijaz Advocate, General Secretary of Dadyal Bar Bilal Majeed Advocate, Israr Nawaz Advocate, Chaudhry Javed Advocate, Raja Adnan Siddique Advocate, Israr Kayani Advocate, Sameer Ayub Advocate, Raja Latif Advocate, Chaudhry Daniyal Advocate, Chaudhry Musaddiq Advocate and others.
Muhammad Mudassar Mir Advocate on the occasion said September 6 is a golden chapter in the history of Pakistan when the Pakistan Army and the people united and thwarted the enemy’s attack.
Paying great tributes to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, he said, “Our unity is our greatest strength, the sacrifices of the martyrs can never be forgotten and we salute the bravery of the defenders of the homeland.”
He further said, “Our freedom is due to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, we are proud of our martyrs and we are all united for the defence of the homeland.”
