Kashmiri delegation organizes special exhibition to draw world attention to HR abuses by India in IIOJK
Geneva : A Kashmiri delegation, on the sidelines of the 63rd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, has organized a special exhibition to draw the attention of the international community to the grave human rights violations by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the primary objective of this exhibition is to inform the world that India is not only openly violating human rights in occupied Kashmir, but is also attempting to erase its ancient culture and identity.
Special banners and posters have been displayed, depicting the plight of imprisoned Kashmiri leaders and the atrocities committed against civilians in the occupied territory. The current situation in Kashmir has been highlighted through art in an effort to stir the global conscience.

Additionally, the delegation has set up a special tent and a stall showcasing Kashmiri culture and handicrafts. This stall highlights the rich culture, traditions, and craftsmanship that have defined the Kashmiri people for centuries.
Kashmiri representatives state that the Indian government was not only violating political and human rights but is now intent on destroying Kashmir’s distinct identity through a “cultural onslaught.” This exhibition serves as proof that the Kashmiri people will not compromise on its culture, identity, or right to freedom.
The Kashmiri delegation has called upon the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities in the occupied territory and put pressure on India to grant Kashmiris their fundamental human rights and the right to self-determination.
