Protests in Jammu against shortage of water, electricity

Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a protest demonstration was held in Jammu against the shortage of drinking water and electricity, which has caused severe difficulties for common people.

The protesters raised slogans demanding immediate steps to ensure regular water supply and uninterrupted electricity. They said basic services are essential for households, businesses, students, farmers and other sections of society, particularly during periods of increased demand, and urged the departments concerned to identify reasons behind shortages and take prompt corrective measures.

The protesters expressed concern over inadequate water supply and frequent power cuts and called upon authorities to strengthen supply infrastructure and ensure residents receive essential services without interruption.

Those present in the protest included Sushil, Kishore, Suresh, Sunil, Sandhya, Parvesh, Jagdish, Sham, Naresh, Abhishek and others.
