Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind says Narsinghanand remarks ‘unspeakable’ and ‘unbearable’
New Delhi: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, a prominent Muslim organization in India, has demanded the immediate arrest of Yati Narsinghanand, the head priest of Dasna Devi temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Maulana Arshad Madani, the president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, in a statement said, Narsinghanand made blasphemous remarks against Prophet Muhammad, which are “unspeakable and unbearable” and have deeply hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims worldwide.
Madani declared Narsinghanand’s actions a threat to India’s integrity and called for swift legal action. He emphasized that merely filing a report against Narsinghanand is insufficient and that his arrest under serious charges is essential.
