Karachi: A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter met senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman in Karachi and briefed her about the latest situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation was led by APHC Secretary General Advocate Parvez Ahmed and included senior Hurriyat leaders Syed Yousuf Naseem, Raja Khadim Hussain, Zahid Ashraf, and Sheikh Abdul Majeed. The delegation held detailed discussions on the ongoing Indian state repression and grave human rights violations in IIOJK.

During the meeting, the APHC leaders also highlighted the objectives of the upcoming ‘Bunyanum Marsous Rally’ scheduled for July 8 in Karachi, marking the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani. They informed Senator Sherry Rehman that the event is not only a tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir but also a reflection of Pakistan’s principled support and unwavering solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
