India’s BJP regime has deprived Kashmiris of all rights, freedoms: APHC

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the BJP-led Indian government has snatched all fundamental and constitutional rights and freedoms of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar deplored that the BJP regime is using its military, police and intelligence agencies to intimidate the Kashmiris into submission. However, he added that the Kashmiri people are determined to carry on their struggle till they achieve the UN-acknowledged right to self-determination.
He said that the dream of peace in South Asia cannot be realized without the peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The statement said, the BJP regime is not even allowing Kashmiris to assemble and speak their mind and has gagged the media while journalists are harassed without any reason.
The statement said that the BJP-led Indian government and Hindutva-inspired communal organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal are thrusting their Hindutva agenda on the people of the internationally-recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The APHC pointed out that guns had never been able to suppress people’s aspirations and urged the world to come forward to save the Kashmiris from Hindutva fascism being imposed by India’s BJP regime through its Manoj Sinha-led administration in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
