Mehbooba Mufti voices concern over alleged role of Kashmiri doctors in Delhi blast

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed concern over allegations by Indian police implicating Kashmiri doctors in the recent Delhi Metro bomb blast, urging a fair and transparent investigation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing party workers at the PDP headquarters in Srinagar, Mehbooba Mufti stressed that while those responsible for the blast must be held accountable, innocent individuals should not be targeted. She noted that the crime has not yet been proven, but the families of the accused are already facing harassment, a move she called unacceptable. She also highlighted that while the blast occurred in Delhi, raids are being carried out in Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti added that if it is proven that Kashmiri doctors were involved in the blast, it would be unfortunate. She reiterated that the PDP has always advocated for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir dispute and remains committed to this stance.
