Kotli Bar Association apprised of ongoing Indian atrocities in IIOJK

Kotli: A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, led by General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed, met with the Bar Association, Kotli, Azad Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK delegation formally invited the Bar members to participate in the programme to be held in Kotli on December 10, World Human Rights Day.

On this occasion, Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed Shah apprised the Bar members of the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said the Kashmiri people have been facing oppression for the past several decades and it is imperative to draw the attention of the international community to this grave situation.

The meeting was attended among others by Advocate Umair Shah, General Secretary of Bar Association, Kotli, Advocate Mahmood Qureshi, former Joint Secretary of Supreme Court Bar Association, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bar members assured their full participation in the Human Rights Day function and expressed their determination that freeing Kashmir from the Indian occupation is their top priority.

They said they will have to unite against the enemy, which is the key to success and it is possible only with the practical implementation of a strong and stable strategy at the national and international levels.

The representatives of the Bar paid tributes to the great sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs and the courage and perseverance of the people.

The APHC-AJK delegation included Raja Khadim Hussain, Shaheen, Ijaz Rahmani, Zahid Safi, Zahid Ashraf and Sheikh Abdul Majid.

The delegation thanked the Bar Association for its warm welcome and assurance of full cooperation.

At the end, the Bar Association also offered special prayers for the eternal peace of Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah’s son, Fateh-ur-Rehman.
