IIOJK Congress slams Modi regime over Gandhi, Kharge’s third-row seating

Srinagar: Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Congress chapter president Tariq Hameed Karra has condemned the seating arrangement of India’s Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge in the third row during the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi, calling it “highly unfortunate” and a breach of established protocol.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Karra emphasized that the Leader of Opposition should always be seated in the front row, citing precedent.
The incident has sparked a political row, with Congress leaders accusing the Modi regime of violating protocol and showing disrespect to the opposition. Randeep Singh Surjewala slammed the government, stating that the act reveals frustration and an inferiority complex.
Kharge and Gandhi attended the parade at Kartavya Path, with Kharge later moving to the front row next to former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
