Jammu & Kashmir Community International delegation visits APHC office

Islamabad: A delegation of Jammu & Kashmir Community International, led by its General Secretary Raja Parvez Ahmed, visited the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation included Sardar Muhammad Iqbal Yusuf, Raja Muhammad Zarin Khan, Pirzada Mushtaq Ahmed and Kashmir Media Incharge Lal Khan.
APHC-AJK chapter Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, while speaking on the occasion, said that Pakistan has been consistently raising the Kashmir issue on all diplomatic and international forums for the past seven decades. He said the Kashmiri people deeply appreciate Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic and moral support.
Safi stressed that all matters should be resolved through mutual understanding and dialogue. He highlighted the clear difference between Pakistan’s consistent support for the Kashmir cause and India’s oppressive policies in the occupied territory.
The members of the delegation stated that the All Parties Hurriyat Conference is the true representative forum of the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which has always strongly highlighted the Kashmiri people’s voice at every level.
Prominent APHC-AJK leaders present on the occasion included Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Chaudhry Shaheen, Javed Iqbal Butt, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Zahid Safi, Zahid Mujtaba and Imtiaz Wani.
In a related development, a high-level delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Cell also visited the office of APHC-AJK. The delegation, led by Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Raja Fazal Tabassum congratulated the newly elected APHC leadership on assuming their responsibilities.
The delegation members held detailed discussions with APHC Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Parvez Ahmed and Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani on the prevailing grave situation in occupied Kashmir.
