Congress criticizes Modi govt for rapid decline in savings, rising inflation

New Delhi: The Congress party in India has criticized the Modi government for the rapid decline in savings and rising inflation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in a post on X said the Bharatiya Janata Party is buying leaders of other parties, while it has become difficult for the common man to buy essential commodities.
He said ordinary families are being ruined under the burden of the Modi government’s poor management of the economy. He wrote that due to inflation, savings are decreasing rapidly, things are becoming expensive, hopes are being shattered, inequality is increasing, reputation in the world is on the decline and anger is increasing among the youth.
The Congress President said inflation is at its highest level in 16 months. Food inflation is 4.78 percent, Medical inflation is more than 15 percent and the rupee is falling rapidly, he lamented.
He said foreign investors are moving away from India and there are no jobs for the youth as unemployment is increasing.
