Modi’s India claims to have completely cured chikungunya with cow urine

New Delhi: During the reign of the Hindu-dominated Modi government in India, surprising and bizarre news often comes to light, which astounds the human intellect and makes one feel sorry for the ignorance of Indians.

According to Kashmir Media Service, one such example has been published by the Indian broadcasting company NDTV, in which apparently educated but extremist Indians are keen to prove their religious beliefs through science.

Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, have claimed in a study that certain biological compounds present in cow urine have proven to be effective against the Chikungunya virus. This study has been published in the scientific journal Agricultural Science and Technology.

According to the research, during 0xperiments on cells infected with the Chikungunya virus in the laboratory, a 2 percent amount of cow urine reduced the virus level by about 90 percent, while a 4 percent amount reduced the virus by more than 99 percent.

The researchers found through chemical analysis and computer modeling that benzoic acid, hippuric acid and oleic acid are compounds that can affect the cells necessary for the growth of the virus.

In the study, cow urine was compared with those obtained from Kalonji. It was also tested in combination with thymoquinone and piperine, which is obtained from black pepper. This combination showed the ability to eliminate 99.85 percent of the virus in a laboratory environment.

The Indian research team says that these results could provide the basis for the development of low-cost antiviral drugs in the future, but further clinical trials are necessary before human use.

Indian experts have claimed that based on this research, the use of gamoura is neither recommended for the treatment of chikungunya, nor has it been considered an alternative to current medical treatments.
