Indian police seize property of a Kashmiri in IIOJK
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police today seized the property of a Kashmiri in Baramulla district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police seized a single-storey house and four shops of a Kashmiri named Mushtaq Ahmed Butt in Yaripora Palhalan area of the district. The value of the seized property is said to be more than Rs 29 lakh.
The BJP-led Indian government has intensified the seizure and demolition of houses, lands and other properties of Kashmiris after revoking the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in August 2019.
The aim of confiscation of properties is to economically weaken Kashmiris and to further the nefarious plan of demographic change in the region by giving the seized properties to non-Kashmiri Indians.
