Pot calling the kettle black’: Priyank Kharge slams RSS over Ram Temple funds’ scam
New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has accused the RSS of “pot calling the kettle black” over its demand for action in the fund embezzlement in Ayodhya Ram Temple construction.
According to Kashmir Media Service, reacting to remarks by RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, Kharge questioned the organisation’s moral authority to seek punitive action.
“Who are they to seek punishment? Why did they wait for so long? Their own people did this,” Kharge told reporters in Kalaburagi.
The BJP hit back, saying the Congress and Samajwadi Party had no moral right to question the matter as they had “opposed the Ram Temple”.
